okay, so i watched the video in the sidebar and i totally agree with what you’re saying. I mean, I’m seventeen years old and i would feel weird about my mom giving me a vibrator, it’s weird. so thinking about a mother giving one to her daughter who is 13 or 14 is stupid. I’m sorry but I don’t think this would keep my child from having sex. It is a green light to go ahead. This makes no sense. No. That lady on Oprah was saying teen girls depend on boys to feel good about themselves too much. So to keep the boy with them girls will engage in sex with them when the girls themselves aren’t even sexual/don’t have sexual feelings. So the lady just suggested getting a girl a clitoral vibrator, so like a young boy, a girl could learn what her body is like and learn to masturbate so that the reliance on a boy isn’t as strong.

I would definitely tell my children to abstain although I know they have their own minds and ultimately they will do what they want. I also would not tell my child that masturbation is wrong. However, buying a sex toy for my little girl, I don’t think so, that’s not happening and it’s wrong on so many different levels.

i totally agree with you. i have 2 stepchildren, 20 and 16 and i found a vibrator in her drawer when she was 17, i was pissed. i have a 10 year old daughter, i speak openly about sex and tell her to keep herself. i keep her in church and tried to keep my stepdaughter in church, but her mother allowed her to be fast at an early age because crack was her first and only love…vibrator, bullshit!!
